Let me share a quick story. My mom has usually been reluctant to embrace technology fully. She’s often asked someone to help her send a text or perform basic tasks on her phone. My dad was the same way. Last year, I sat them both down and taught them the basics. I explained, “Technology is your friend, not your enemy.” Now, they use digital tools and apps wonderfully. I see them making WhatsApp video calls, chatting with AI, and sending online messages, and it fills me with pride to witness their transformation. If you feel stuck or left out, don’t worry—you can move from being a digital beginner to a savvy user in no time.

A man once applied for a position at a company I visited. Before his interview, he was asked if he could operate a computer. Unfortunately, he admitted that he couldn’t. The company representative informed him that without digital skills, they couldn’t consider him for the role. This illustrates how critical it is to possess these abilities in today’s workforce.
